The Studio @ USC Upstate

I had the opportunity of designing the logotype for USC Upstate's creative agency, The Studio. The Studio exists as an opportunity for design and communications students to hone their skills while gaining real world experience with startup companies and/or non-profit organizations.

Creating the logotype

Here's the initial drawing of The Studio logo I drew on a dry erase board. From this photo I traced and created a vector version of the logo via Adobe Illustrator. After tracing the half erased sketch, here's the outline of the logo, along with the bezier curves in action.

After pulling myself away from obsessing over bezier placement, here's the final version of the logotype.

Marketing Materials

In addition to the logo, I also created a brochure that shares information about who The Studio is as well as the services they offer as a student-led agency.
