Allied in Art is a non-profit designed to harness the arts as a force for unity and positivity.

I was among one of the many talented designers and illustrators to design a poster for Allied In Art’s poster series, in partnership with the Greenville Peace Center, to amplify the voices of Black artists whose words and ideas can benefit and inspire our community.

For this poster, I wanted Alice’s words to be represented with the same amount of energy and conviction I felt when reading them. Using bold colors and typography, along with varying weights and hand-drawn elements with just the right amount of texture was the perfect combination to create a design filled with energy and emotion.
