Creative Crosswalks — Spartanburg, SC

The Chapman Cultural center commissioned 4 artists to create artwork on four of the main crosswalks in downtown Spartanburg as a creative solution to pedestrian safety.

My brother Frankie Zombie and I tag teamed the two crosswalks at the W Main St. and Magnolia intersection, using Frankie’s signature “Jetsons” aesthetic in a 26 hour-straight painting marathon. Yes, 26 hours straight. My thighs still have not recovered.
